Information

This course in the use of digital multimeters is a web-supported hands-on training course. As a student, you will have eight (8) weeks, from your time of enrollment, to work through each of twelve chapters and their accompanying exercises and tests by first reading the chapter in the textbook Digital Multimeter Principles along with the associated chapter in the handbook, Digital Multimeter Principles Workbook. There are two optional non-required chapters that have tests included for them (but no CD-ROM based exercises) on the course web site, and correspond to Chapters 13 and 14 in the DMP Handbook. You may complete these units for your personal DMM skills benefit.

You will then perform hands-on exercises from the Workbook and, upon completion of all readings and exercises, you will access your online chapter test from your chapter Test Link from the CD-ROM. You will be required to obtain ALL possible points on the test and will be permitted multiple-attempts on each test to obtain all points.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be issued a Certificate of Completion by the Joliet Junior College Community and Economic Development. This certificate will indicate that you have successfully completed your course of study in Digital Multimeter Principles.
