Getting Started

The Fluke DMM 179 and Fluke DMM 87 high performance meters can be used in this course, but are not required. If you desire, you may order your course kit to include either model. However, individual meters are not for sale via this course. Fluke meters are one of the most common industrial digital multimeters in the industry, with several million meters in use. In addition to measuring AC and DC voltage and current, resistance and testing diodes, Fluke meters include MIN/MAX/AVERAGE recording mode, relative mode, frequency/duty cycle measurement and capacity measurement. All meter functions will be covered.
